Preparation for first examination

This is just a reminder. We are writing our first examination on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

Here is everything you will need to know to write the exam successfully.

Part I: Grammar – (20 points)

Part II: Literary devices – Identifying similes and metaphor (5 points)

Part III: Reading Comprehension (10 points)

You will get a text from me and will have to answer some questions about it

Part IV: Writing (65 points)

You will be asked to write an opinion piece about one of the following topics

• Every classroom should be equipped with cameras so the public knows what is happening in schools.
• There should be age restrictions placed and enforced on social media websites.
• Compulsory education for children should be abolished.
